Opus 400, “My Aching Heart”

The central motif here is a tilted heart surrounded by dark beads, emerging from the abstract massing of blues plus golden swirls – all of which is set off by a background of warmly-textured bronze.  Placed inside a more classical frame, articulated with a rectilinear geometric pattern, it is perfectly suited to complement the painted media via its golden walnut tonality,  The energy inside is contained by ‘pure articulation’.
